The "Somethin Fishy Too" is docked at Channel Grove Marina in East Harbor, just South of Kelleys Island.
This location provides a quick 3 minuite boat ride to access the open waters of Lake Erie from the dock. This means more fishing time, to some of the Western Basin's most popular walleye and perch fishing grounds.
Being located in the Marblehead/East Harbor area, we often fish from the Reef Complex, across the Islands - to the Vermillion area as the season and tempetures progress. Jig fishing to casting, then TROLLING for the big "EYES", are the common methods used.
Also, anchoring on top of an active school of yellow perch makes for a fun filled day on the lake.
The captain fishes and communicates with some of Lake Erie's well known captains including "Eyehunter" "Parker Here" "Chankanaab" "Pooh Bear" "Fish Tales" "Spoonfeeder" "Bad Karma" "STP", just to name a few..... So that means a great network of fishing information and strategies are shared amongst each other to help save time and costs on the water. This makes everyones fishing trips an enjoyable and memorable expirence at Lake Erie.
The captain reserves the right to cancel, or to end a trip short- Due to foul weather conditions
that will risk the safety of his crew and vessel returning to the dock safely. Safety to the customers is #1. Without them, us as charter captains wouldn't be able to work and ENJOY it!
Thanks for viewing, and safe fishing to all....
Capt. Ron S Frailly
